Luca Strati is an Italian illustrator, painter, and concept artist from Reggio Calabria, currently working between Arezzo and Florence. He studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze and the International School of Comics in Florence, building a strong foundation in both classical drawing and modern illustration.

Throughout his career, Luca has worked as a Freelance Illustrator and Storyboard Artist, specializing in fantasy illustration, concept art, and narrative-driven visuals. Since 2002, he has created official posters as a Poster Artist for G.A.St.Art / Monte San Savino Show, contributed artwork as an Illustrator for Italian Iron Maiden Fanzines, and collaborated as an Illustrator for the sci-fi magazine Galaxy.

He is a Co-Author and Illustrator of the fantasy comic saga Mystura, contributing to the visual development of its third volume. Alongside illustration, Luca also works as a Painter and Sculptor, collaborating on sculptures and artworks at Gastart Studio and Mario Strati Art Studio.

Since 2013, Luca has also been working as an Anatomy and Painting Techniques Instructor at the International School of Comics in Jesi, mentoring and guiding emerging artists.

For the Whaleden platform, Luca participated as a Competition Illustrator, creating an illustration of Luna — the main heroine of our story — and contributing to the expansion of our visual universe.
