Sebastian Escobar AKA Garnabiel (born April 8, 1987, in Colombia, currently based in Europe) is a self-made graphic artist, known for his illustrations featuring a high level of detail and clean linework.

He created his own path through social media, delivering a large number of artworks that went viral across the internet.

He published “Garnabiel Anatomy Perspectives and References for Artist” in 2019 and is currently working on covers for “Calico” from Sigma Comics, as well as “Behind The Last Gate” books, and interiors and covers for “The Silent Descendents”, alongside many other upcoming projects from his own creations.

A former member of the Reial Cercle Artístic de Barcelona, he participated in exhibitions across Spain and won the Sant Jordi 2015 Art Contest with his illustration “The Fall Of The Dragon.”

For the Whaleden platform, Sebastian created a striking illustration of the heroine Luna, portrayed riding among colossal whales in the middle of a dynamic ocean scene. Through his signature detailed linework, cinematic composition, and powerful sense of scale, he captured both the adventurous spirit of the character and the majestic atmosphere of the world surrounding her.
