Its 36 full-color pages deliver light slapstick and anthropomorphic gag stories — including "Fine-Feathered Friend," "Banana Bonanza," "Shipwrecked," "The Galloping Pole," and "All Star Athlete" — alongside supporting features such as Slinky and Slim and the backup Marvin the Monster. Aimed squarely at children, the book follows the era's talking-animal comedy formula of harmless mishaps and cartoon hijinks.

Published by Archer St. John's New York house, the comic appeared at the peak of St. John's early-1950s output, when the publisher was churning out funny-animal and licensed cartoon titles (Mighty Mouse, Terry-Toons, Little Audrey) alongside its more famous romance and Kubert-era adventure lines.
