All Humor Comics #1 (Quality Comics, Spring 1946) is a Golden Age gag anthology packed with the funny-animal and slapstick features that defined mid-1940s comedy comics. Across its 48 full-color pages, readers meet a rotating cast of humor strips — Odd Jobs, Inc., Giddy Goose, Kit 'n' Kat, Uncle Fuddly, Willie Worry, Mickey the Moocher, Bozo the Hobo, and the debut of the diminutive character Mitymite — alongside one- and two-page text fillers typical of the era's page-count requirements. The book has no single continuing hero; its appeal is the variety-show format of quick jokes, talking animals, and everyday-life buffoonery.

Published by Everett M. "Busy" Arnold's Quality Comics — one of the most creatively respected houses of the Golden Age, home to Blackhawk, Plastic Man, and Will Eisner's studio talent — the title appeared under the corporate imprint Comic Favorites, Inc. on its indicia. It launched during the postwar surge in humor and funny-animal comics, when publishers diversified away from wartime superheroes. Interior work on this first issue came from a solid Quality bench including Klaus Nordling (who also drew the cover), Ernie Hart, Al Stahl, Paul Gustavson, Janice Valleau, and Robin King.

Today the issue is of interest as a snapshot of Quality Comics' humor output and for its place in that publisher's legacy: when DC Comics acquired Quality in 1956, titles like this passed into DC's library.
